I'm so sorry, but if it makes you feel any better, my fun-time-Buffy party night involved watching a robot throw Spike through a window, so if you want to trade... no wait, I wouldn't give up that memory for anything.

Buffy ,'Get It Done'

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Mostly lurking...

I just machine quilted all the zigzags on The World's Ugliest Quilt (TM). It doesn't look too bad, if I do say so myself. Now I must decide what to do with the borders.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

SA - medievalism and feminism - Have you read - or ever heard of - Medieval Prostitution? I learned so much from that book, about the whole medieval culture, not only the place of women in it. For a interesting look at the development of the iconic Mary, try The Mary Myth, by Andrew Greeley. You have to get past his defensive first chapter, though. If you're actually interested in that past the assigned reading, which you may not be.

Well, this class is very ::shudder:: organic, as it's just her and myself. But I'll mention those books to her. She's a medievalist, so she may very well know them.

Okay, I kinda love that philosophy. It's like linking everyone to the world's ugliest dog (may it rest in peace).

Yeah, me too. :)

Both of my younger siblings own homes, are married, have children and pets. While I just have a pet. It doesn't make them or me any better than the other, we've just had different life paths.

Heh. My four older sibs all have property, some have spouses, and some have kids. When you're the fifth kid, you learn pretty quickly that comparison is fruitless.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I have achieved Magic cleaning things. I also achieved taquitos. Guess which I am using right now (AIFG!)?

But next I clean. And I gave up on trying to figure out a floor cleaner and wondering if I actually own a mop. I bought a few cans of Scrubbing Bubbles instead and will foam the fuck out of my kitchen floor and call it a win.

My brother is a partner in his big-ass law firm which is a job he hates , married in what I am positive is a massively unhappy way , with a big-ass fabulous house with an oppressive mortgage , and a really zoomy fast car which, okay, I am actually jealous of . Basically a big-ass fabulous Orange Country life. I like mine better.

t wanders into thread, waves

Heya. I'm taking a Grading Sanity Break (TM). I'm at Panera, and I've been very good and very productive for more than an hour. In a minute I need to get back to it, but my brain demanded a GSB first.

Sean has taken meara off to shop on Melrose, but I'm looking forward to having a good dinner with everyone later. Just have to be good and stay on task for the afternoon...okay, and probably most of tonight after dinner.

But it's been a really fun weekend until now, so I can't complain.

How are my Bitches today?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

See? This is what happen when worlds collide!!!! RUUUUUUNNNNN!

(Which driver?)

Drag racing. He's still hot.

I just went upstairs to beg my neighbor to tell me that s/he has a pet because I just heard something in or above my ceiling that made me jump two feet in the air. Neighbor was not home. I'm going back in an hour.

As far as "grown up"? You go to bed when you want, have sex if you feel like it, and decided when or when not to wear a jacket you're a grown up.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Ain't days off school grand, Kristin?

Erin, that sound you hear from afar? My sardonic laughter.

Hee. Yeah, love not having to go to work, but when I know I'l be working another six hours today anyway, it loses a bit of its allure.

How are you doing? How goes your teaching adventure?

I'ma loving it. Still fun, still good, still love my kids.

Grading is of the suck, but that's just one of the drawbacks. Everything else is pretty cool.
