Xander: How? What? How? Giles: Three excellent questions.

Xander/Giles ,'Never Leave Me'

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Deena! Good luck with all the moving stuff. Miss you!

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Closings always seem to include obscure paperwork demanded at the last minute. Good luck!

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

{{{vw}}} I am so sorry, love. Please listen to Teppy for she is wise.

When I was sick a few years ago, I had to drop out of school completely for the semester. I was frustrated because I felt like I was a failure by not being able to cope with everything and because I was prolonging finishing school by getting myself off schedule like that. Upshot is that I'm human and have my limits and really couldn't cope with everything all at once, but that didn't make me a failure. And, I am finishing my program later than I had expected, but I'm also healthy and able to deal with it.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Shoot, just with my re-fi, it felt like there was always one more thing that needed to be signed. Grrrrr.

Ok - are there any buffistas in the Boise, Idaho area???

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Deena, that's terribly exciting!

But why do they need to know why money appears in your account?

vw, please take care of yourself. Bed/home rest is hard, and letting things you'd planned on doing slip does chip away at the psyche, but so does extended pain.

Do more as I say than as I do. Please. Someone has to be sensible.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Thanks, sj! I miss you too. I feel like a stranger at all my online haunts. I can't wait to move. I'll have an office! with a door! that locks!

We're hoping my parents will be able to come up and help fix the wiring (it's knob and tube, if that means anything to anyone) and Dad said he'd run some grounded outlets, build a playhouse with a swing and slide for the babies, and build a back porch while he's at it.

Yay!!! That sounds lovely. I am so excited for you. You're going to have your porch and a garden and a place for the kids to play outdoors. So exciting!

For fear people are giving us money (ahem) and therefore won't be able to make the payments after the closing bit is all done.

I admire people who recognize their limits and are able to say, "This is as much as I can do." It's just not something I've been able to achieve so far.

I've been part of three house closings and three re-fi closings, and they've all been fraught with bizarre paperwork and last-minute charges.

Aha. Tell them you're a drug dealer, then.
