Spike: Heard what happened up top, offing your dad and all. Don't know if you know this, but, uh…I killed my mum. Actually, I'd already killed her, and then she tried to shag me, so I had to-- Wesley: Thank you. I'm…very comforted.

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

There are enzymes suggesting severe muscle breakdown.

::prays that vw doesn't turn into a giant slinky::

I'm sorry, Ms. Bug. You deserve a break that's not a breakdown.

Mostly lurking...

All I can say is, I sure hope I don't have to be hospitalized. I don't have TIME to be hospitalized.

Either way, though, I still have to taper off the steroids. We can't just stop them. That'll screw other things up. And, doctor just told me I'm looking at 4-6 weeks of muscle pain.

Wishing you lots of painkillers, vw.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

oh, vw, the world just needs to let up on you.

My best wishes for as little pain as possible.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

vw, I hope they work it out fast. I'm sorry you're going through this.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Ack! I hope you can avoid hospitalization, vw. And I hope the tapering goes smoothly with no further complications.

I hate it when the things you do to make one thing better make something else worse.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

(((vw))) (((MG)))

In my flurry of throwing stuff out, I've come upon piles of post-its from my old office, a duplicate set of kid pictures I no longer need since I have the original portraits right here, plus, the actual people of whom the portraits were taken. Also stacks of notepads, a ream of pinfeed address labels, several old action folders (heh), and three boxes of bookplates.

Does anyone still use bookplates? Does anyone want these? I think fewer than five were used out of any of the boxes of 50. They're Antioch, and quite nice. One box is a spiral galaxy against a black sky spangled with starpoints and shot with comets, and the words "Ex Libris" above a blank white space at the bottom for your name. The next is a library corner with Beatrix Potter-style animals reading at a round table, with a scrolly-fancy cartouche at the bottom for your name and the legend: This book belongs to. The third is a gathering of Where the Wild Things Are type-characters gathered under a full moon, and a pinky-purple rectangle at the bottom lettered with "this book belongs to" and a space for your name.

Your name and address to my profile addy and any or all of them are yours. If you only want one or two, specify which.
