Sigh. Took the darn nurse 3 sticks to get my IV going today. And now my arm hurts like hell. While therapy will continue for 5 more weeks, progress has been noted and the doctor was quite pleased.

MG, I'm so glad progress has been noted. That is wonderful news.
I am almost in tears. This stabbing pain in my back is gonna push me over the edge. I was radically accepting stuff fairly well, but damn, pain like this can just push me past acceptance into panic, and well, PAIN.

pain, just not fun -- do they have you at 800 or 1000mg of motrin . ( 800 is the usual perscription dose - my sister get cramps bad enough that they tell her to take 1000)

I don't think that that much pain is something you should just try to suck up and keep working through. OTOH, I don't know what would help, besides more painkillers.

In NORA NEWS (which the board has gotten assloads of today anyway) I got an email regarding a second interview for the mega-job interview I had on Thursday! It's been less than a week, since my first interview, so I think it's a good sign. I have no idea when we can squeeze it in, because I have a conference Tues. and Wed., and am flying to London Wed. night. Also can't miss much work, due to conference prep.

Also, {{vw}}. I'm so sorry this is happening. Sometimes I am more with the how to solve and less with the sympathy. But the problem solving comes from sympathy!
