Don't you have an elsewhere to be?

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

vw, look at it this way, you'll be in pain no matter where you are, and if you are at work you will be earning money, keeping a promise and distracting yourself. I googled the myopathy and they said it USUALLY gets better as soon as the patient stops taking the steroids, but it can take months. I have my fingers crossed that relief will start right away for you.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Wow, Fay, lots of wonderful news! So very exciting, whichever option ends up enticing you. I'd lean towards the better working situation, b/c the non-work aspects of both sound fabulous, and after the crap you had to go through in Cairo a good working environment is the least you deserve.

Woohoo, Nora! I still need to goet myself over to the Ferry Building so I can actually enjoy it rather than race through on my way to or from the ferry. Love that place.

I know you're trying to be super responsible about work, vw, but (pain) + (not really supposed to be there) adds up to (stay home in the hope that you'll be in less pain when you are scheduled to work).

I'll testify to your non-acountability if necessary, Sparky. Feel better.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Bangkok? (Oriental city, and the city don't know what the city is getting).

You know, I'm glad I'm not the only one who automatically goes there....

Also? Fay rocks like a rocking thing. Go Fay!

Whee! Nora will be around! Yay!

{{{{MG}}}} Just because I feel you might still need them.

(And if you're lucky then the god's a she....)

Oh, I *so* went there, too.

I can't even.

Oh, I *so* went there, too.

I'm actually enjoying the earworm as it works its way through my brain. But then I am world o' gronk this morning, and coffee is only barely helping.

... in a show with everything, but Yul Brynner.

Last night I saw an australian movie called littlefish with a marvelous cast. Anyone else seen it?

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Fay, I'm glad to hear you're spoiled for choice. Either one sounds like it could be loads of fun.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Unless the idea is abhorrent to you.

Pffft. As if.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

My god, i am insanely excited about this trip.

I, on the other hand, can't get my ass in gear to plan shit. Like, say, plane tickets.

Sloth, thy name is Teppy.
