Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

How frustrating, vw! Nothing worse than being stuck inside when you don't want to be, and not being able to enjoy the time by sewing just makes it that much worse. How is the health doing--is the imprisonment staying home recuperating helping any?

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I totally want a magic eraser now. Do they make them big enough to just wipe the whole house?

Mostly lurking...

is the imprisonment staying home recuperating helping any?

I think so. I mean, I still need my nebulizers, so it's not perfect, but it is better. Hopefully I'll be able to rejoin the world tomorrow.

move out and draw fire

Congrats Deena! May you and your family have many many many happy years there.

I too had a Sunshine Family.

I bought a Magic Eraser on a whim, and the DH has become seriously addicted, wandering around the house looking for things to clean.

In related news, today was Spring Cleaning day. Several loads of dishes, laundry, much stuff earmarked for disposal. Windows thrown open to let in the birdsong and spring breezes. I also managed to make a bunch of baby food (chicken "kiev" with broccoli, pancetta with spinach, carrot and lentil stew) and we walked to Don Corleone's Creperie for lunch.

Exhausted, but happy.

t snuggles Zenkitty and Deena and builds a carboard house

I really see my Mother's point on Barbie. And she wasn't as hard-line as my Aunt who was a real bitch about it (well, about most things, really). But the cookies was going too far, dammit. Suddenly she cares about my work ethic? I wanted the damn t-shirt.

Magic Eraser

Somewhere some marketing goons are wondering what the hell is causing this spike in sales of Magic Erasers.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Alas, Trudy, we have not the same mother, as I did not have the Sunshine Family. I had home-made dolls....

Which, actually was a good thing, because I learned how to sew and cut my design teeth making outfits for the dolls.
