I feel that if other people can tell me that I must have a baby, I should be able to tell other people that they are not allowed to.
5 pounds is pretty much the average birth weight here. Of course, there's a healthy and got-all-the-nutrients 5 pounds. If the mom ate nutritious food and took her pre-natals and all, the kid has a better shot at health than the kids of the mothers who smoked all through pregnancy to keep the weight off (and just because no one's ever had the idea to quit).
Ugh. Did not sleep well. Legs hurt. Sick of whining. Hoping the doctor can do something today.
In the meantime I'll go to work and try to concentrate on my lit search. Ugh. I'd rather just stay home and crochet, but, well, that's not a very feasible plan. Although, I've gotten quite a ways on the shawl/pancho already. It's quite pretty and springy. Can't wait to finish it so I can wear it.

I need to get up right. now. and start doing stuff, but I don't want to.

Whoo! Made it to work. Boy, is it nice to sit again. My legs are killing me. I'm so glad that next week is Spring Break!
After the grueling death march of a weekend I've just had, I now realize that this weekend my dad is coming up with his "friend" (feh, I don't care much for her), the next weekend my sister and a bunch of her friends (who I do like) are coming, the following weekend I'm probably going to DC, and I can't even bear to think past that.
But I'm playing hooky from work on Friday. I think I might go see the Pompei exhibit at the Field Museum.
It's those cute, little, naked, thrall-monsters. They have an eerie mind control over us; the more of them we are exposed to, the more we want one of our own.

Whoo! Made it to work.
I made it out the door for my run and am now back needing to shower, feed the bean, and eat. Hopefully, I'm going to follow vw's lead and get all this done.
