I miss Oz. He'd get it. He wouldn't say anything, but he'd get it.

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Thanks Sail. There are just so many issues flying right now I can barely think straight. I've taken to making lists. People who know me, know this can be dangerous.

May - only 2 months...ahhhhhhhhhhhh. Music to my ears.

Vacation in 77 hours sounds even better. *flounces off*

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

The pharmacy keeps screwing up my Celexa prescription, so she called in the new prescription today for the right dosage and for them to dispense 3 months worth up front as long as my insurance will allow it.

That's cool. Coinkidinkily, I'm on Celexa. And with the impending layoff, my already shitty healthcare will be getting excrementally worse. I used to be on 20mg and my doctor bumped me up to 40mg. So I have some refills left on the 20. I called in a refill on both the 40 and the 20 today. I originally filled them at different pharmacies so there are no raised eyebrows. And I hope the insurance dudes aren't going to catch it. I'll be damned if I'm going to pay two or three times as much just to make sure I don't go into withdrawal from my anti-deps.

I took a sick day. Still headachey. And Aunt Flo popped in for a visit last night. I slept in this morning given that I was up 'til 3. I'll be running out for fortifications and then I'm hitting the resume trail again.

move out and draw fire

That's a good tip about Low Sodium V-8, Andi, thanks! I am forever getting leg cramps, and I hate bananas. And Gatorade isn't part of my weight-loss program.

In fact, I'll probably get a good cramp tonight as we played tennis today. I blew my shoes out - the sole came right off. Clearly my swath of destruction is still being cut.

So DH said he'd buy me new tennis shoes for my birthday, prompting the shoe discussion. "What are you looking for in shoe?" "Pink." "(sigh) Do you pronate? Do your toes run up into the front of the shoe? Do your feet swell?" "Anything's fine, if they have it in pink. The K-Swiss with the tiny hearts are cute." "Ra-aq!" "OK. How about...not red."

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Nora, for future reference, when shopping around for airfares, you might want to clear your cache before jumping back and forth between travel sites. Or use separate browser windows.

I should probably ask this in the technology thread, but since it was brought up here, how does one clear their cache?

Dear world,

In the last few years, I have known 4 people that have fallen off ladders. Please, that's enough.

sj, it's slightly different for each browser, but poke around in Preferences (or Options, whatever it's called in yours). It's often in a section of privacy-related things like clearing your history, saved passwords, and so on.
