A year and a half ago, I could have eviscerated him with my thoughts. Now I can barely hurt his feelings. Things used to be so much simpler.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I ask myself that EVERYDAY.

How's Princess TickyBox?? What's she doing? She getting into the make-up yet?

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

...so I just sort of outed myself to my baby sister, there, by email. Which I realise is pretty late in the day, having been out as bi to my friends (er, although not so much in Egypt, actually) for several years, but I only see her once or twice a year since she was 8 and I was 17, and it hasn't actually cropped up in conversation.

Er.

'Cause I found out that I'd precipitated a small familial explosion when I inadvertently copied her in on a conversation with my Mum in which my Mum was a bit honest (not horrible, but rather disparaging) about my sister's current boyfriend - it was all a bit awful, but it's fixed now and they're friends and stuff. But I figured that if she ever needs me to take the heat off her dating choices, I could always come out to my parents. (Although I'm fairly sure my Mum has strong suspicions about my notstraightness, but I think she doesn't want to think about it, probably.)

Er.

In other MeMeMe news - I want a flipping job already, damn it!!!!

(Much later)

Bless WeeSisterJay. She rocks. Which we already knew, of course. Still. Bless.

I don't know about that, but I do know that in this case I am SO right.

Hi, Cindy! How's everyone in your house feeling today?

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I always remember it because stalactites have to hang on tight.

Stalactites down from the ceiling; stalagmites up from the ground.

(c for ceiling, g for ground)

If you put ice on the wax, it gets brittle, and you can chip off a bunch before you do the ironing thing.

Emeline is darling, as Aimee and Meara look great.

What is even happening?

Pretty well vw, thanks. Chris has been off the nebulizer for six days, and seems clear (although there's another little cold, or he's mildly allergic to something, but there's no breathing difficulty).

How's your asthma?

Hi Ginger!

How's your asthma?

I'm a little wheezy this morning, but not terrible. I'm being stubborn and putting off the nebulizer, which is just stupid. Now that I type that I realize how stupid it is. It's just such a pain to pull out the machine, plug it in, and do all that. But, it'll make me feel better, so I should.

Tomorrow I'm free again. I'll work and have three doctor's appointments. If that doesn't exhaust me, I don't know what will! So, today I'm trying to take it easy...do some studying, work on my quilt, etc. I would clean, except that I'm afraid that kicking up dust is gonna trigger the asthma, so I'll hold off on that.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

We had to neb the guy at the group home twice yesterday. Poor guy.

Andi, it's in South Euclid, only 9 blocks from the school I wanted and about 6 blocks from one of the branch libraries Greg works at.

That does sound great, and I'm such a West-sider that I don't think I have ever been in that bit....
