Well, we may not have parted on the best of terms. I realize certain words were exchanged. Also, certain... bullets. But that's air through the engine. It's past. We're business people.

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Side effects from this fucking, fucking antibiotic. I am SO e-mailing regular!doctor and telling him how pissed I am. In addition to the jaw pain, all my joints hurt, and my hands are swollen. These are, apparently, also common side effects to this fucking panzer antibiotic.

Teppy, I'm so sorry that you are having so many problems with these antibiotics. I have to say, though, that your symptom rants are very helpful for me. I'm on Levaquin, and it looks like I'm going to have to take a second series. Anyway, while my side affects are no where near as bad as yours, I had been wondering about some sharp pains, and had been talking down that hypochondriac voice in my head. It's nice to know that there's a real cause for the pain and that I'm not dying. Also, I never would have looked it up because I never would have thought of an antibiotic being a possible cause for a pain, so I was blaming the stomach issues on it, but not the pain. So, I didn't mean to turn this into mememe. Really, it was supposed to be saying thank you and {{{{{{{{{Teppy}}}}}}}}} and antibiotic and doctor ~ma.

So, it's not just the people in my office who are having a monday today, then?

I had no idea everyone's day was going so badly, because my day was going like crap and I've hardly had time for b.org. Perhaps the antibiotics are affecting my motivation and memory as well, because even though I'm swamped, I can't remember half of the urgent things to do, so I'm doing other, less urgent things. Plus, I'm not doing them well because my brain has decided to take a holiday. Argh!

I hope this means really great weekends for people. (the bad fridays)

You and me both!! I must admit, though, that I'm not optimistic about this one. Plus, I want chocolate and can't have it. Ack!

eta: Off to start the weekend. Good luck all and ~ma to those who need it!

brillig

My new job in tech support has limited Internet access, and I got a look at the whitelist of allowed websites. Neither Buffistas nor LiveJournal are permitted, and I'm leery of submitting them for approval. Ah, well.

Lots of news outlets, though, so I can get my news fix, lots and lots of computer stuff naturally. Given the number of guys in the place, lots of sports and hunting, plus a surprising number of free speech type sites to balance out the Rush Limbaugh and George W sites (surprising for Utah County). Local newspapers, local organizations, credit card companies so I can pay my bills at work, yay. Genealogy places to suck the attention of the LDS and other family history fiends (Here!).

eBay. Right, that won't take people's attention.

andre_norton.org, plus several LotR and Harry Potter and Star Wars sites. I wonder who had the chutzpah to put those in?

Plus . . . fanfiction.net.

I am boggled. I may have reason to waste time at work after all.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

If you're in LA, have some Falafel King for me. Gawd, I miss that place.

What I'm really craving is Los Panchos taco shop in El Cajon, but that's a bit too much of a drive.
