Oh, sj, are we having States The Obvious Day again?(/House) More seriously, this is an issue of some political conflict for me, because not long ago I got e-mail from somebody who "used to be a Democrat" about that. And I'm still a Dem, and in my way, believe very strongly in government social programs. But I still sometimes wish they'd, well, cut the crap. Make a real committment to treat everybody involved with some dignity and respect. I hope y'all don't think that means I believe that bootstrap bullshit, because I hate it and when I hear it from somebody I usually know I hate them, too. But I hate feeling like I'm in The Box filling out paperwork just as much.
'Trash'
Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Ugh, poor C.!
That reminded me of this from The IT Crowd:
Yay! Fellow watcher! Yay!
Have you watched all six episodes?
I have serious Moss overidentification issues. I mean, I think in Reality Land, I'm probably a balanced mix of all basement dwellers on the show, but in My Head Land, I'm totally Moss.
SA, I'm so glad you got your stuff back.
Teppy, I'm sorry your doctor has his/her head up his/hear arse.
Cashmere, you said something that made me nod and agree, and it's now all gone from my head, so there.
Okay. That's all I have.
I started to make a go, but apparently I'm still unfit to talk on the interbunny. I don't know if it's the time of year, or not. I suspect it might be. I'm not depressed per se, but I'm not not, either. I feel like I'm no longer addicted to the P.C. That can't *actually* happen all by itself without effort, can it?

I actually haven't watched any of it. I saw that quote on a blog earlier, and thought it was pretty funny.
The episodes can be downloaded, right?
eta: Check this out: [link]
Sadly, I read "P.C." and thought "probable cause" and thought "No!!! That's how they do that spying crap...don't say that." Possibly I need less politics and/or crime stories.

It's happened to me... when I am away from my work PC for vacation, or whatever, aside from occasionaly checking email, I'm not so interested in being on the computer at home. If I have to be on the computer for other reasons (work both at work or at home) then I have to look at other stuff, it's like a law of nature.

What Cindy said, since I flaked on saying it myself.
also, except for a few places, the internet is hella annoying me these days.

Yep.
Is it political crap that's getting on your nerves Nora? I can't even say the internet is annoying me. I didn't decide I needed a break or anything. It just happened. So weird.
