Jayne: We was just about to spring into action, Captain. Complicated escape and rescue op. Wash: I was going to watch. It was very exciting.

'Shindig'

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Please give her scritches behind her adorable ears for me.

I did! I did!

My family knows that should I meet an untimely end Dallas will be going to live with you.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Yay! Go Deena! May everything go smoothly, and the inspection be clean.

I need to try this now with Bill's More than this versus Brian Ferry's.

It made me listen to Brian Ferry's on repeat for about three days and then write some Jenny/Lilah. I think that says more about me, though, than about the Bill version.

Today was actually kind of busy in Casa Marcontell. Paul used the Flexcar truck to take our old mattress to the dump (I hate dumping potentially usable items, but it really was in borderline condition, alarming, considering it was only about 4 years old, and we had nowhere to store it), so I went consignment shopping with Lillian. Scored some shoes and clothing, and toy piano-like thing.

Then, when Paul was done, we went on a drive around the city while she napped in the car, had lunch, then walked around Alki at sunset. It was an incredible sunset, too. I'm feeling kind of blessed.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Yay house!

Yay, Deena!

And I'm sad to say that the ice dancing is very boring for me. It's all rhumba and salsa stuff, and that music just grates on me. And Buttons continues to need smacked.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Billytea! Things are pretty darn good, really, though I desperately wish I were back in Costa Rica right now.

Well, fair enough. Being in Costa Rica wouldn't upset me either.
