'Dear Diary, Today I was pompous and my sister was crazy.' 'Today, we were kidnapped by hill folk never to be seen again. It was the best day ever.'

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I need sweets. I just had an apple. It's not cutting it.

sj, you are not a loser. You're doing this the smart way, that is, the way that doesn't make you miserable.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Thanks, everyone. You are all too good to me. I can't accept the good things you are trying to say about me today, so I will just say thank you.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I'm glad it wasn't layoff and out the door. As awkward as it is working here right now, I really need the time to marshall my jobhunting resources.
This sounds better for you then, Spidra. But, damn, those people are just insensitive asshats whose rudeness is just boggling.

This publisher has a history as a small business before it was sold to a big corporate publisher. Some of the people here date from that founding period and some of the corporate culture still reflects that.
That explains a lot possibly.

Robin, feel better. Jammies and fluffy tv have proven health benefits.

Perkins will go anywhere there are penguins.
She's not the only one. IJS.

((sj))

The house next to me is for sale. $825,000 for 2 bed/1 bath and 1,000 sq ft. There is a wee apartment in the back which probably adds $150K to sale price. Yeah, I'm thinking moving is a good thing.

However organizing continues to be a pain in my back. And arms. And neck. My ass is too padded to be pained by this.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

HMOG am tired. Still, not sick, so I count my blessings.

vw is making me hungry. This has resulted in what might be good food cooking or a massive culinary mistake. I'll know as soon as it browns up.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

mmmmmm.... Jen's Ass.... sighhhhhh.....

(it is intersting when you're out with Cass and some guy oggles her ass. on the one hand it's "hey, buddy, eyes back in the sockets" on the other, you sorta can't blame him)

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Robin, stay warm and cozy.

Spidra, sorry to hear that people suck.

Aimee and Sean, there's a Polish pastry shop in Santa Monica on Wilshire. I've never been there, but my friends say it's yummers. On second thought, it might be a Polish sausage shop, but I think it's pastry.
