Angel: If I'm not back in a couple of hours— Gunn: You're dead, we're screwed, end of the world.

'Underneath'

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Timelies, all.

I'm sitting in the overheated library, contemplating coffee. Taught one class already, have two more to go, then a tutoring session, then studying. Such is my day. If I have time afterwards, I might go skating, but I have a feeling that, by the time I'm done studying, I'm not going to feel like getting changed and walking over to the rink. (I went skating on Saturday, and it was a lot of fun, plus way more relaxing than just about anything I've done in the past month.)

move out and draw fire

Wuh. I am drained. Many errands this morning, including mailing a big box of books and a big box of DVDs. Everything's harder with the papoose on my back.

Mal was in no shape to tolerate the salon, so I didn't get a haircut after all, alas.

Then about a two-hour conversation with the DH on the "stay or go" topic. It's career vs. family, thinking vs. feeling, rational vs. emotional, and I just can't help him make the decision. I'm cool with staying in Athens, I'm cool with returning to the States and doing the single-mom thing for a year, I'm cool with doing a serious hardship tour after this.

I am a leaf on the wind.

But a very tired leaf, with no food in the house, so I've no idea what we're having for dinner.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Raq - I just realized I never sent you a note to let you know I received that package. I'm a dork.

And I just want to tell the world to CHILL OUT and bring the GOOD KARMA to the buffistas, friends, and family.

MG, that's funny, as I just thought "I should send a note to let Suzi know there's a package en route."

The fact that the impetus was Cass writing "my pitcher can't tolerate hot water" (I thought, "Who does she mean? Which team does Cass follow? What hot water's happened at spring training") should in no way be taken to mean I'm a fannish type.

I dreamed that I was trying to stop a wedding in a Balkan village using some combination of sparrows, turtles, wolves, and badgers (which stood for air, water, fire, and earth), and I was fighting two ancient crones who could shoot sewing needles from their fingertips.

Always Anti-fascist!

Pausing in the midst of all tragedy and germs to say "Wait. Somebody's claiming House? Need to at least get my name on the list, though Wilson may medicate me if I try anything." I think he's great although it makes me fear for my personal life how many people tell me how perfect my Fic!House voice is. I'm just...a good mimic. That's the ticket. Poor Meara's "friend". Getting that stuff stolen is never easy, and I wasn't roughed up.

The pitcher talk is what reminded me to acknowledge the package - but then again, EVERYONE knows my fannish obsessions. It is raining like crazy here right now and all I can think of is the Arizona sunshine. Shoot, even if it rains when we are there, it will be a warm rain.

K-Bug has already pulled out her suitcase and is making lists. Our trip is over a week away. I think my obsessions are rubbing off on her.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Love your dream, Raq.
