Sometimes a thing gets broke, can't be fixed.

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

I hope it works, beth. Regardless, I think both lemon and ginger are good things for colds.

Awww, shit. So earlier, had the long painful horrid conversation with MinnesotaGirl about our "relationship"....just saw her LJ and called her--she got mugged earlier this evening, right outside her building, by a couple guys, they punched her in the face and took her wallet and now she's got no ID, no social security card, no credit cards, etc etc.

She said she's called the banks/credit card places, and she called the credit bureaus to put a freeze on, can anyone else think of anything she needs to do??

I feel so bad, talk about a horrid day for her. And now her house/neighborhood feels so unsafe for her, I"m sure. (Hell, it's reminding my how MY neighborhood sometimes sketches me out!)

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Oh poor Minnesota girl!

That *is* awful. Wish I had any additional advice for precautions. I assume she's filed a police report already.

Yeah, she called 911 once she got back into her apartment, she wasn't sure if she'd have to go to the hospital--she said she was bleeding from the mouth pretty hard, and thought she might've lost a tooth or need stitches (she turned out not to).

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I feel so bad, talk about a horrid day for her. And now her house/neighborhood feels so unsafe for her, I"m sure.
Oh, I feel so badly for her. What a lousy, rotten, stressful day.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Ah, geez, meara, that's awful. I've had that happen, and it's awful. I had to move out of my apartment about 4 months after it happened because I felt so unsafe there.

Frail my heart apart and play me a little Shady Grove

Lisah, that's awful about the baby; how devastating. Much strength to them.

meara, is there any victim's support the police can point her to? They might have some ideas about anything else she needs to do to cover herself. Plus counseling. That unsafe feeling probably isn't going to go away any time soon.

So sorry about the sicklies and ickies Bitches must endure. Hooray for hugs and hairpats, pictures and links, and the sexy foaminess of Bitchdom helping to balance life out.

Now to bed before I get any more incomprehensible.

move out and draw fire

Oh, lisah, what a nightmare! All my condolences.

Very cute haircut, Jessica. I am inspired to get my hair cut today, but as usual, I don't have high hopes.
