Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

brillig

You could put something in a box on a timer to start playing recorded laughter. That could be good for some fun.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

My ex-husband emailed me last night to tell me that he misses me and loves me.

I feel kind of sorry for Z; the fact that it's his screw-up doesn't make it easier for him to deal with. I'd say 'what everyone else said', but, well, they already said it, and you know anyway. I'm glad that things in SF are working out well.

Trust my rage

I'm up because Ellie is up. Ellie is up because I let her sleep next to me while watching BSG and then she woke up to the TV noise.

Anyway, I'm keeping warm under my super cool Bitch Blanket and Ellie is playing very happily with the butterfly on the corner. Thanks again, KB!

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I have to write a paper comparing a science related, peer reviewed article against a non-peer reviewed article on the same topic. I chose anemia/iron deficiency cause why not learn more about this fun I'm having. And learning is right. So much of what I'm reading has me going "ah-ha" and just plain head nodding.

I see the hemotologist again on the 8th. I'm going to be all knowledgeable by then and be able to ask some more intelligent questions - I hope.

Hope all goes well, MG.

Cass, I wholeheartedly recommend Rescue Remedy for keeping the felines calmer during transport. [link]

Also, the German Shepherd sized crate we got was good for both cats plus a litterbox. Of course, we also had a soft-sided cat sized carrier for separating them when necessary. This plan worked well for us.

Mom just told me that she ordered me an extra vial, "Just in case..." I am totally dosing the cats.

Thanks for the carrier plus extra time out carrier rec. That is a good idea.

You know, we were talking about the cats when mom mentioned the Rescue Remedy but she never specifically said it was for them.

Maybe it was for me.

Either way, it's gonna be shared. A LOT. 1,100 miles with two cats...

All is well that ends in pizza.

Buffistas should also look for a wife for P-C - we could race against his mother.

Hmmm. It seems P-C was quite pleasently startled upon meeting juliana a couple of weeks ago....IJS.

Cass, wrt Rescue Remedy - I found that it did wear out after 3-4 hours. As the best means of getting it into Sammie was to add it to her food (she completely freaked out when I would try to drop some in her mouth), we would have a few hours in between the time it wore out and the next dose. That was a not-great thing about it. YFeeding/DosingScheduleMV.

One nifty thing about the BIG crate was that there was room in between the top of the covered litterbox and the ceiling of the crate, so that one or the other of the cats could get on top of the litterbox for some make-shift alone time.

Are you planning to take the cats out of the vehicle to stretch their legs? If so, harnesses with plastic slider size adjustments are not your best bet - go with buckles.

ION, Daniel and I just had an argument disagreement about how to handle The Cookbook. He was bending pages. I whined at him. Then? We stopped.

Well, I stopped. I've set it aside until I can open it again on a clean surface without bending pages — or we get it laminated.
