Can we maybe vote on the whole murdering people issue?

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Why am I feeling so fucked up in the head at the moment? A variety of little things has suddenly converged into me feeling like the only option is to go run and hide under my covers and cry and not come out until the weekend is over. I think part of this is PMS, but I'm not usually hit by that. Damn. I'm forcing myself to stay on my couch rather than go into my bed, but I just cancelled plans to go drinking.

I shall meara to take my mind off myself.

...

That sounds really weird, doesn't it. Hmm.

....

Has his Masters in City Planning. Sneakily snarky. Outdoorsy. Owns cats. Owns house. Very stable, nice, warm. Pretty much the definition of a mensch.

And he's cute, and lives in Portland? DAMN. He IS a catch!

Your comment about my recovery going past "rebound" and into "Superball fired in a squash court" territory may be extrapolated outward, as well. Or bedward. As it were

Sounds very interesting...and makes the (small) possibility of going to a work training thing in San Francisco all the more tempting!

My ex-husband emailed me last night to tell me that he misses me and loves me.

Dear god. Can I smack him, please? I mean...I'm all about wanting what I can't have, but when someone else's feelings are involve I try to keep it to myowndamnself! (or me and my LJ...or bitches)

I got another rejection letter to add to the pile, and I'm working very hard to remind myself that this is in no way personal;

It's so not. Getting a first job can be tough. Some friends of mine senior year started a "wall of rejection" and put up all the rejection letters they got (mostly they were business majors, so they started interviewing early, and got lots of actual letters, as opposed to just no response when they sent the resume)

I think there should be a reality show where Team Buffista competes with Team Family to find the best wife for P-C.

That would be an AWESOME show!!

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

{{meara}}

But then there will be Buffista visitage? Yes?

I did already invite myself.

And....

I HAVE ACHIEVED COOKBOOKAGE! It is so cool! Thank you all so much for all your hard work. It's fantastic.

Aims, are you still around? Sorry, I had to go on a run that took me west side, which ate my entire afternoon.

Do I know this person?

You sure do.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Some friends of mine senior year started a "wall of rejection" and put up all the rejection letters they got

I did that, too!

Also, one of the bars Uptown would give you a free drink if you brought in a ding letter (but it had to be from an interview, not just from sending out your resume). By graduation every year, the wall behind the bar was practically wallpapered with ding letters.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Ooooh! Get on IM!

Can't. Still at work, where I haven't got any chat programs up and running yet.

Let's just say he's a friend of ours from home who we still see plenty of out here, and who's always given us cause to make fun of him, even though we do care about him.
