Actually, I was thinking it would be sort of like a pet. You know, we could...we could name her Trixie, or Miss Kitty Fantastico, or something.

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Eh, it's not that I'm unhappy being single; it's that it would be cool to fall in love with Mr. Right.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I wouldn't mind so much a long-haul wait for Mr. Right if I could go ahead and sprog without him. At the moment? Not so much with that.

'Zactly. (And I'm not even getting any 5th dates!) I take tons of classes and keep pretty darn busy and have a pretty nice life, but in the back of the brain is always the waiting for Happily Ever After. (Which I shouldn't say after going to Into the Woods last weekend). Heh.

My mother might like to trade me in for you! She'd been bugging me for at least 10 years for grandchildren. And when I tell her I'm waiting for their Father to join the party first, she keeps reminding me that in this day and age I don't have to have The Man first.

I'm frankly thankful I feel no burning biological desire to procreate. I think I would be less happy if I did.

Not intending any slams WHATSOEVER towards those who do; just sayin' I appreciate that my attitude towards waiting might be a little less laissez-faire if I did.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Teppy, Nora, libkitty, Owen -- equal shares of "feel better!" to all of you.

The world famous buffista ~ma seems to be working a bit for me. The others on this list sound like they need it much more, so I send most of mine on.

I cut and pasted a bunch of other stuff for a meara, but I seem to have lost it, so I will instead dispense general ~ma, punctuation, and looks of incredulity (for Juliana. Wow.).

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Mexican Wedding cookies! My favorite kind of cookie! Damn, now I want some...
*That's* the cookie I should have answered when Perkins asked for favorite cookies yesterday. Even beats choc chip dough.

Epic, I have dinner plans with my dad (stepmom is out of town, I adore the conversations we have when it is just the two of us.) tomorrow so you have tonight (I can shower! Really!) or Sunday or such for peanut buttery bacony burgers. I didn't want to call you until after work hours.

We'll get you squared away in no time.
And trust Hec. He's gonna get me a date when I move to Portland.

Speaking of, I think I picked a moving company. And tentatively dated it for March 7. That's really soon, isn't it?????

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

I'm actually just about to leave, which is better than I thought.

Woot indeed! I'm very seriously considering canceling my swimming thing with my friend and just coming up now. I don't know.

I also downloadedacquired by mysterious means "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang" and "Syriana," so if we want to do Oscar nom night, we can.

Wow, cass, that is soon. But a good soon. A very good soon.

Did you end up doing the two-month sublet?

I have to make chili tonight (still no cookbook, but I've been using a variation on Deena's chili recipe for over a year now, so that'll tide me over) for tomorrow's Pot Luck/Meeting, so let's call Sunday the date. (plenty of time for showering!)

Wow, pretty soon! Go you! (Haha, literally!)

Hmm, jealous of SA getting to hang with Steph and Steph getting to hang with SA.

Then remember I'll soon be hanging with cass! Whee!
