Who's the Ray? Reflexively, I was wondering if it was Pros/DS.
Ray is Doyle's first name. It's rarely used in the series, but the fanfic writers like it-- from what I've read, which I freely admit is a fairly small sampling.
I went to the same place ita did.
Since I don't know Pros-- I was wondering if it was Dawson's Creek/Due South!
The only fictional Bodie I knew of was Lukas Haas' half-witted kid sidekick character from Solarbabies. I believe my brain went to a scarier place than anyone else's.
Depending on the Ray (can we have a war?) Bodie/Ray is a nice place indeed.
How weird to not use Bodie's first name, then.
There's one in the Wire too(I believe it's his first name, but in a show with people named Wee-Bey, Bird, and Stinkum, who knows?) That's a funny visual.
I believe my brain went to a scarier place than anyone else's.
What, you have a problem with futuristic dystopia underaged rollerskate sex?
IOW: your scary place is my scary place, now with added absurdity!
I've never seen an instant of the Professionals, but was exposed to their fanfic through academic studies. It's very difficult for me to give a shit about fanfic, or indeed the intellectual point being proved via fanfic, when I have no idea who the characters are. So in my brain, I called them Starsky and Hutch. Which, I gather, they basically are, with fewer Miranda rights to deal with, and possibly cooler cars.
