A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Hmm. HappyFun Sam/Jack?

I've read some S/J but I like the messed-up/wrong variety better. Nanda's "Salvage" linked by 'Suela above is great, but it's definitely not happy. Some of her other stuff is less angsty.

I really like the stories by Jemima Pereira: "The Alternative Universe Survival Guide" and its sequel, "The Perfect Set-up" are a pair of delightful in-character S/J romp that makes a good use of the quantum mirror device. My favorite story of hers by far is "White Dove" (another quantum mirror story) though, which is not fluffy, but is odd and quirky and kind of tragic in a very understated way.

I love elly's stories, but again, not so much with the happy. Oh my God. "Left Behind". What a trainwreck.

Christine does good Sam/Jack. [link] She gives good femslash and character pieces, too.

Suz Voy is prolific and popular and she's not bad, although personally, I find her stuff a bit too fluffy.

Like Suela, I don't really read the pairing widely. so if there have been good new writers lately, I'm probably missing them.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I keep forgetting about CGB, which is stupid, because she's so very good at just about everything she writes.

And I just reread Elly's Concessions. Ouch. And Yum.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Is there any GOOD Alias fic out there? (Or else hilariously aswful Alias fic?)

I can't rec from personal experience, since I don't read Alias fic. But I know Yahtzee sometimes writes fic about the show, and she's written Angel/Cordelia fic that didn't make me see red. Also, made me cry with a Joan of Arcadia/Day After Tomorrow story despite my utter lack of familiarity with any of the characters therein.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I loved that fic (JoA/DaT).

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Yahtzee's Alias fic, the few I've read so far, are excellent. Actually, pretty much everything on her Miscellaneous fic page rocks the house, including, yes, her JoA/DaT crossover, "Goodnight Moon". Damnit, why did ya have to bring it up again? Just *thinking* about the story makes me want to bawl.

Everyone has to read her Alias/Bridget Jones' Diary crossover, "Jack Bristow At the Edge of Reason", which is one of the funniest damn thing I've ever read.

Polyamorous Recs has been updated!

Nestra had the semester from hell, and then she left the country. The two were not unrelated. shrift worked so much she was thinking about setting up a tent and a hibachi in her office. Updating took a little while. Sorry? But we brought 160 stories to the party, in almost 40 fandoms.

Next update: all the Yuletide and Secret Santa stories you can shake a stick at!

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

The brave New World slowly had turned into a typical Utopia, a perfect corner of the Planet that thrived and grew. There were no evil doers, no war mongering and no horsemen of the apocalypse rough riding through this wonderland. In the hands of the Royal Couple, the perfect gift would further sprout and prosper. King Michael and his lovely and equally graceful wife Queen Nikita were ready to further cultivate the hopes and dreams of the realm. That is… until this fateful day when the newly crowned King became ‘Nikitized’.

Yes, just your typical Utopia. t yawn

Arriving in an area that was bathed with the light of the full twin moons, the green grassy knoll was filled with the aromatic smell of flowers, their blossoms sprouting under the watchful eyes of the silver orbs.

Your typical Utopia with...two moons. This is still Earth, as far as I know, although it's post-apocalyptic Earth.

Nikita sat on the ground, her skirts a circle of organza and lace the color of a virgin, making her look like the top of a wedding cake, wondering what her husband was up to.

Probably wondering why she looks like a cake.

Michael who was no fool in these matters and recognized the agonizing need that comes with… well cum… dropped to his knees before her and ripped the camisole from her scalded body.

Ewww. And why is she scalded? I don't know.
