We killed a homeless man on this bench. Me and Dru. Those were good times. You know, he begged for mercy, and you know, that only made her bite harder.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

...ew.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

the friction created by the potent drive drove the couple up a steep cliff just to propel them to an abyss of pure bliss

Why, it's almost poetry.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

If by "almost" you mean, that it, like poety, is comprised of words.

Thrive to spite them

It could be Vogon poetry.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Oh, come on Debet, doesn't that drove/drive, cliff/abyss/bliss just sing in your ears?

DebetEsse - Jan 19, 2005 11:03:18 am PST #9462 of 10000
Woe to the fucking wicked.

Oh, so that's singing that I'm hearing? And here I though it was my brain trying to escape.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Hey, at least the writer created something that entertains people. Though not, perhaps, in the manner he or she intended.

Ignoring the scary, scary snippets of fic ...

So! A good friend of mine has recently started reading fic (Plei, claim your toaster). She has no set fandom, but is fascinated by everything. I pointed her at PolyRecs, but would like to give her a couple other rec sites to wander through. Could you kind people give me some suggestions to pass on?
