Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

JM kissing (angle's unclear, but he's at least faking it) NB.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Article in Guardian about fanfiction: [link]

It's a thoughtful, non-derisive article for a change, except she uses the term 'slash' wrong. Which is annoying.

Thrive to spite them

Today Slate has an article about Gilmore Girls and literature and they reference fanfiction, I can't get a link right now, but it just mentions fanfiction as a way fans express themselves and that some of it is erotic.

It's a very positive article, well written article about Gilmore Girls.

Thanks for the link, Vonnie. And yes, again they get the terminology wrong. ::sigh::

I missed the JM/NB pictures. So sad.

Just popping to share an extremely good G-rated Harry Potter one-shot, featuring the librarian and Umbridge, Desk Duty.

People are stressed out over the election.

So in the interest of some good clean (or dirty) fun, I've started a short-term ficathon: La La La 2004. For those of us who'd rather read/write fic, make silly icons, and generally bury our heads in the sand between now and Tuesday.

Come play!

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Culture Vultures, by Yahtzee. So, what happens when Willow and Oz and Faith all decide to visit the Met?

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Not fanfic as such, but this had me weeping with laughter.

Also, choosing my requests is *painful*.
