Buffy. When I saw you stop the world from, you know, ending, I just assumed that was a big week for you. Turns out I suddenly find myself needing to know the plural of 'apocalypse.'

Damn. What show is this?

CSI is filled with pretty. I didn't start watching it for my health. I like to call it my 'girls who do girls who do boys who do boys who do girls' show.

There are so, so many workable slash and het pairings on that show it isn't even funny.

Speaking of CSI, guess who's doing November recs for crack_van? Whee!

Oh, excellent. I look forward to it. Gen? Het? Slash? Grab bag?

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

A bit of a grab bag, I think. I'm sorting through my favorite fics, trying to decide which are actually worth recommending and which are simply guilty pleasures or comfort food. There's a bit of a skew towards Grissom/Nick, but I think that's more because of the quality of available fics rather than any particular preference for that pairing. Greg/Nick and Grissom/Sara tend to attract writers of fangirlish, schmoopy fic for some reason (either that or h/c fic of the sort that appears to use the articles of the Geneva convention as a checklist of 'things to include in my story') so it's a pain to separate the wheat from the chaff.

I'm really hoping that this one author (Wintertime) finishes a fic she's working on ("All Fall Down") before the end of the month, since it could very well be to CSI fandom what "The End of the Road" is to dS fandom.

There's also lovely little crossover fic that has me rubbing my hands with an evil sort of glee. I'm tempted to rec it without warnings or listing the other fandom simply because the HSQ factor is just. that. good.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Grissom/Nick? Huh. I wouldn't have guessed.

Who does Warrick get paired with mostly?

Nor I. Still, there are some really good fics out there that sold me on the pairing.

Who does Warrick get paired with mostly?

Catherine or Nick, from what little I've seen.

From what I've seen, that and Nick/Greg are the major slash pairings.

Nick/Greg is obvious, but I'd have thought Warrick/Greg next -- Warrick is kinda all purpose sexy, and Grissom screams het to me.

Huh. That seems to hold no appeal for me.
