Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You don't have to actually put anything in the journal, but you will have to sign up to post in communities.

Cool. Thanks.

The first time posting is the worst, Lady. Way back in the misty reaches, I spent a good five minutes hovering over the "Send" button before I just consigned my soul to the gods and hit it.

Yeah, but the first hit of feedback, man... You're hooked right away. Straight to the pathetic-need-for-approval center of the brain.

Or that could just be me.

Or that could just be me.

Nope. And then you need bigger and bigger hits, and more powerful hits ...

No. Right there with you. *twitch*

The initial rush has worn off a bit, though, and now I seem to have entered a panicky stage where I'm convinced that it was a fluke and I'll never write anything again.

Which is why I'm a bit wary of the LiveJournal thing...I may wait and see if lightning strikes twice.

It's always a fluke. Or it always seems to be.

Yep, I'm just being a nasty ol' fic-writing pusher. C'mon, babe, the first one's free.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

LOS, the livejournal thing isn't a big deal at all. At the heart of it, it's just a name that people recognise you by, like here.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

What SA Said. You can also just use your LJ to post links to cool stuff you've found on the web, or cool posts that friends/acquaintances have made in their LJs -- there's no requirement to ever post anything, but it does let you keep track of friends' journals through the Friends List function, and so on.

And if you're on other people's FLs, then you may get to see their friends-locked posts. (Like for instance, my posting about the reaction of the Due South slashers to a ridiculous gay porn movie. Somehow didn't want to put that one in a public-accessible post that my Mom could accidentally stumble across.)

The Body Swap "novel" is really-almost-truly finished -- I'm waiting for comments (hopefully light) on a rewritten final chapter, so I have great hopes for this weekend as an official pub date. But we'll see!

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I have a friend who's looking for Kill Bill femslash. I'm pointing her to the few stories on Silverlake -- anyone seen anything else?
