So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

PMM, is your Batverse recommended reading list anywhere easy for me to refer back to?

I'll put it up on a permapage tonight.

It grows daily. Sadly, I'm not kidding. Or, if I am, not much. Packages arrive seemingly daily at my house with New Things. But the intro/core list is somewhere around here.

Thrive to spite them

Batgirl Year One is waiting for me at the comic book store. I should pick it up tomorrow or Saturday.

I have a feeling that won't be the only thing I'll be walking out of the store with.

Art Crawl!!!

Ooh, I think I need a link to that list PMM.

(I've discovered that when it comes back in, I can get the Dark Knight at the local library.)

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

I've already written three Yuletide stories and will possibly write more. Is it too much to ask for somebody to write me a damn Space: Above and Beyond story?

If I knew the fandom...

I wrote two unfilled requests for Yuletide, but I'm kind of ambivalent about doing more.

You sip / say it's your crazy / straw say it's you're crazy / as you bicycle your soul / with beauty in your basket

There was a MSCL virtual season that I thought was pretty good, though it did get melodramatic as it went on.

Y'know, I think I found that when I was trolling for MSCL sites after having watched all of it in three days this winter (my main reaction: "All of these websites were like designed in 1998! Wait, actually, that would be about right").

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Are there any good Stargate fic communities on LJ?

Also, why do I have this sinking feeling that I'm about to get sucked into the Batfamily fandom?

Up with the sun

I think I found that when I was trolling for MSCL sites

There were a couple. The one I remember liking had Patty finding her birth family, including a manic-depressive brother. I remember that detail more clearly than the Angela, Rayanne, etc. storylines because the OC kind of took over the season, which was one of the reasons I quit reading it.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

There's a drabble community I'm aware of, but that's all. Here.

Thanks, Katie!

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Not that I've seen. Or at least, not that are popular.
