Damn it! You know what? I'm sick of this crap. I'm sick of being the guy who eats insects and gets the funny syphilis. As of this moment, it's over. I'm finished being everybody's butt monkey!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The Joker will always be around. I don't think he was hobbling when he tortured Lex in The Outsiders. (Nightwing's following Bats in more ways than just crazy).

Up with the sun

Most comics discussion goes in Jossverse.

That was what I thought, but I was wondering if I was wrong.

No big.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

And a Batman thread doesn't do that much for the Nightwing lovers, strictly.

This is why comics are confusing and headache-inducing.

Hmm. And now I feel guilty because I can't stop babbling about comics. I feel like I need to write a livejournal post where I promise not to let comics fandom devour me from my bottom, or something...

Edited to say that, obviously, that's my weird thing, and yeah, shutting up now.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Vandal Savage is in 1602? How? He's a DC character.

And there we show how little I know about these comicverses. Who's the dude with the mirrors, and the pointy goatee, then?

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

SA, he's Dr. Stephen Strange.

Thanks to you crackheads, I went to Half-Price Books at lunch and happened to find Nightwing: Ties That Bind. And so I bought it.

Always Anti-fascist!

Anne, Vonnie, Nutty, (or any other long-term Homicide viewer) Do we ever find out how Mr. Russert kicked it?

Vonnie K - Mar 22, 2004 6:03:12 pm PST #7611 of 10000
Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

According to the character bios here, Russert's husband died of cancer. I vaguely recall Russert having this conversation with Munch, although I can't exactly remember from which episode.

Always Anti-fascist!

Thanks.I picked the wrong search term in Google.(I had this idea for a drabble and I didn't want to get stomped with canon, huh?)And, cool, the Munchkin exes are Gwen, Maria, and Nancy...I've been trying to track it for a while. But not as long as I wondered what "iguana style" was.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Heh. It took me a few different searches as well. I *thought* it was some kind of terminal illness but the details were just out of my mind's reach, you know? Then of course I had to go all obsessed and *had to* find out.
