We killed a homeless man on this bench. Me and Dru. Those were good times. You know, he begged for mercy, and you know, that only made her bite harder.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

(And not apropos of fanfic, but y'know, the Nightwing issues lately have been like porn for me. I mean, it's like the way ME tortures Wesley. Mmff!)

Aww, yeah. Pretty, pretty suffering.

And slowly my flist is being taken over by JL...

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I can't believe that I have to buy more comics now.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I complained about that at Escapade and nearly lost my head (in an affectionate joking way. I hope) to Sandy Justine and Cereta.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I can't believe that I have to buy more comics now.

I was thinking that earlier. My library system has a good amount of TPBs, but for the most ubiquitous titles -- Spidey, X-Men, Supes, the Bat, etc. No Nightwing, damn it, which I feel I should start reading.

Nahh, SA, DC comicverse is way sexier than JL.

Is it? I've only got the briefest knowledge of it all. Amusingly (for me, anyway), when I watched JL for the first time the other day, and Savage was on there, I was all, "I know him! He's in 1602!" A bit backwards, yeah.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

You been keeping up with Birds of Prey, too? It's been pretty freakin' incredible.

No, but now I'm thinking I oughtta be. Damn it. Comics are worse than CRACK.

Dude, no shit! (Also, in the latest? Scruffy.)

Gyah. I mean, seriously -- I can't explain how hot he is. I just need to hand people a few of the latest issues where he's on a motorcycle and grinning madly, and basically going, "I think I've gone insane. Isn't it neat?" as he's driving off a roof...

And slowly my flist is being taken over by JL...

Heh. The DC comicverse takeover makes me happy. I felt all lonely when RPS became the hot new thing.

Vandal Savage is in 1602? How? He's a DC character.

Well, to be fair, it depends on your obsessions -- JL has some fantastic stuff, especially centered around Flash. I'm just perversely shippy about the whole twisted batfamily dynamic.
