You've got friends to have good times with. When you need to share the trauma of a badly-written book with someone, that's when you go to family.

What? I'm right here with the spare weaponry and the armor repair kit; my knee hurts and I'm not involving the kitten.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I got some good fan-loving in on Billy the first time round. I'm just patrolling to make sure he's not being wasted.

Yes, because you're a makeup-insensitive freak who didn't come of age in the hotbed of New Romantics.

But see how well rounded I am? I'll take both.

I refuse to speak on how rounded you are.

As for the New Romantics, my only plea is that I grew up on the borders of Appalachia, where there wasn't a whole lot of exposure to "those sorts." Plus I was raised by Puritans.

Oh, heck, I'll just mosey over to that lovely website of wet, scrubbed, clean, lickable men. Then maybe the one with the glasses. And hit replay on the Billy CD, too.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara
