Inara: So. Would you like to lecture me on the wickedness of my ways? Book: I brought you some supper, but if you'd prefer a lecture, I've a few very catchy ones prepped. Sin and hellfire... one has lepers.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Someone give me other suggestions of where to pitch it, and I will try again.

Utne Reader? (Which is actually now just Utne, which I find disconcerting.) Might be a good market.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

They had a fairly crappy article about it just last summer. Spring? Anyway, recently enough not to want to do it again, I think.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

Looked at Utne. They tend to publish summaries of articles that have already appeared somewhere else. Or something like that.

Now, if she could just write an article on FF....

did we ever find any Magneto/Wolverine?

If you're looking for movie Magneto/Wolverine, I couldna find squat. Comicverse Magneto/Wolverine is slightly more doable, only you have to, uh, be up on the whole Erik/Joseph/Magneto (NOT a threesome) whackjob thing with Rogue, and maybe even then only get it via an actual threesome of Joseph/Rogue/Logan.

Looks pointedly at Consuela, Dana, Nutty and Shrift.

Oh, bugger. Haven't I got enough to do? I'm trying to write a happy gay romance, here.

Although, I was seriously tempted to write an article theorizing about the existence of mpreg... but since they've done it on Enterprise, not so much.

Nah, I think I'll just finish reading The Female Eunuch and write my happy gay romance.

You know that LJ link I posted a while up? It got picked up by metablog, and there's some fascinating discussion ongoing about fanfic, and fan vids, and legality, and legal threats, and fair use, and copyright stuff.

Really, Rivka rocks mightily.

with a gleam in my eye, and an almost airtight alibi

The place I'd pitch a smart slash story to would be Nerve.

Michele, THAT is a good idea.

Especially since Nerve has published slash fanfic on their site. Scullyslash, to be precise -- Dasha K had one of her Jitterbug Perfume stories up there a few years back.

Always Anti-fascist!

I heart The Female Eunuch. Read it till it fell apart. Germaine was a "sexy bitter thing" once, too.
