Anyone who's interested in A.J. Hall's work (and if you're not, why not? Don't be put off by the fandom or pairing) may want to know that her latest story is now online: The Kindly Ones.

Ahem. fangirl squee

Hey, Am, someone told me this weekend that AJ Hall pulled her LJ. That true? And if so, why? (If it isn't too personal...) I wondered because she seemed both intelligent and accorded a lot of respect. I was seeing links to her in odd non-fannish places. I'd hate to think she got drummed out of active participation in fandom over something.

Second paragraph:

Eventually, with a sigh of deep satisfaction Draco stretched, extricated his arm from beneath Neville's body, and started to haul on a thin rope which had been looped around the winch and which disappeared over the side into the depths of the water.

I'd say that was a yes, connie.

Consuela, yes, she deleted her lj. I e-mailed her about it, because I was worried about the same thing, especially have seen some scuffles in HP fandom, and when she replied (on Friday) she was planning to be back when some stuff-- I don't know what-- had calmed down. That's all I know. I'm keeping her on my friends list.

Good to hear, Am. I hate to see the sensible ones go away, you know?
