I may have skipped and skimmed -- did anyone post the news that LJ suspended Fandom_Wank?

t edit Errr....I think I was confusing Fandom_Scruples (evil blacklisting people), which hasn't been suspended. So what the hell was Fandom_Wank and why was it suspended?

And how did I know about it?

FW hasn't been on LJ in over a year, Steph. They're over on JournalFen now, and have been for some time.

We've got some FandomWankers here on B.org, actually. So they can speak for themselves -- as someone who's not a member of the community i'm not really comfortable explaining what it's about, other than a place to find pointers to the most recent flamewars.

Oh, and no, I hadn't heard Fandom-Scruples got banned. That's ... odd. However they had threatened to report people to the police, and maybe that crossed the line into harrassment sufficient for LJ to do something about it.

I tried to make that VCD of Farscape vids. Unfortunately the format of the vids doesn't convert to VCD without totally frelling up the syncing between the music and the images. Which, of course, screws the pooch for the whole vid concept.

So I'm a bit lost.

Journalfen is hosted by the slashcity people, and there's no way they'll ever suspend f_w. Not that Steph was implying that, but just to clear it up.
