I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

erika, I fell in love with Speranza's Due South stories without having ever seen the show. So it is possible.

Always Anti-fascist!

I have seen it a few times years ago. Wasn't it on the same night as Northern Exposure?

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

erika -- "Chicago's Most Wanted" for a taste that most people who haven't actually seen the show like. (And people who have seen the show go nuts over.)

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I started with Chicago's Most Wanted. I really wish the show were still on tv somewhere in the States, as I'd love to see it, now.

Of course, I would probably be a little disappointed at the lack of overt HoYay.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I would probably be a little disappointed at the lack of overt HoYay.

I dunno -- Paul Gross was pretty down with the concept.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Dammit. So, no upside to not seeing it.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

But in good-ish news, Season 3 (with CKR and all the Hoyay you can yay) was originally scheduled to be out 1/29 and will show up a couple of months late.

Of course, I would probably be a little disappointed at the lack of overt HoYay.

Oh, there's overt HoYay in the Callum Keith Rennie episodes. Intentional HoYay. In that season's gag reel, CKR assumes the position against a wall, and Paul Gross grabs his hips and quite happily pretends to fuck him.

What we get from this is that CKR and Paul Gross think Ray Kowalski is a bottom. Heh.

Thanks for all the fish.

What? It's going to be delayed?

And this after my season one discs (disc 3, episode 19) turn out to be corrupted and I have to return it.

Sigh. And I've been mostly enjoying it very much.
