Oh, I wish those council guys would let me have an hour alone in the room with her, if I was larger and had grenades.

Diablo Robotico Up.

Sen. Fred Thompson! Cynical Southern Republican Watcher!

Billy Bob Thornton would be very interesting, though.

Always Anti-fascist!

"Let's kill some demons, y'all."(Which he would say partly cause he felt like it and partly to irritate Travers.)

I bop to Wittgenstein. -- Nutty

I would *love* to read the silly!fic in which Rowan Atkinson plays a Watcher. You could take it two ways-- bumbling, saved by his Slayer; or Blackadder, with a Slayer who was more than a match for him and a Baldrick-style fellow Watcher... there are possiblities.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Chow Yun Fat would be an *excellent* Watcher.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I haven't seen Bulletproof Monk yet, but it sounds a little kinda like he does that there.

Diablo Robotico Up.

I saw Bulletproof Monk and concur with the watcher-like dynamics.

Kenneth Branagh also came to mind as a model for a watcher. What about Hugo Weaving?

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Okay, no, because I already have problems looking at Elrond and saying "it's Agent Smith!" or looking at Agent Smith and saying "It's Elrond!" Thus Hugo Weaving is not allowed to play any more genre roles, even in my head.

Interestingly, I never look at either Elrond or Agent Smith and say "hey, it's a cross-dressing lip-syncher!" Despite the fact that one really could go with that for Elrond pretty easily.

I just saw Agent Elrond in Bedrooms and Hallways, and now I see him as an intense and attractive sex addict. Bring on RotK.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

And when I see him? It's always "Agent Mitzi Elrond!!!!"

Because tAoPQotD was on heavy rotation in my life for a very, very long time.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I'm also on the Mitzi busload here.
