Y'all see the man hanging out of the spaceship with the really big gun? Now I'm not saying you weren't easy to find. It was kinda out of our way, and he didn't want to come in the first place. Man's lookin' to kill some folk. So really it's his will y'all should worry about thwarting.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Spoilers for how much of the season?

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Mer's a complete spoiler virgin.

So, only through 5x3, and only vaguely.

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

I know there are a few other Homicide geeks out there besides me, and I know you'll enjoy this: Homicide Shakespeare-style.(and a few other playwrights like Tom Stoppard.) It's funny, it's smart, it's MunchNKai4evah without the schmoop(and I had to rec her after making her read about 4evah...she's probably getting the restraining order right now.) I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Someone remind me that a) I'm busy and b) I have trouble writing for deadlines and c) I have too much stuff in progress already.

while we tell of yuletide treasure, the obscure and older fandoms Secret Santa thing.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Dana:

a) you're busy;

b) you have trouble writing for deadlines;

c) you have too much stuff in progress already.

That said, if it sounds like fun you should totally do it.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I am busy, and I do have trouble writing for deadlines, and if I don't finish my damn Lindsey story, there are two or three people who may start threatening my life.

I just hope people request obscure pairings that I like.

It looks like it'll be fun. However, I'm gonna have trouble narrowing down Stuff I Want People to Write for Me.

(Psst. Dana, feel free to send suggestions my way. And mockery. But no mockery allowed without suggestions.)

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

I chose Narnia, Harry Potter, BtVS, and The Dark is Rising.
