So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

It's a flashficathon.

We just got our assignments, those of us who are participating.

Our mission is to write a fic of no fewer than 1000 words, set in BtVS S3 or earlier, or AtS S1. Participents chose a pairing or setting, and assignments were given at random.

I like to talk about politics with people that agree with me, and I like high class places.

Is three a link?

Not yet, but when people have finished, there will be links and master lists and all that.

Don't make me come down there!

Sounds good, I can hardly wait to read them!

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Heh. The Sailor Moon fic list* I'm on just posted a Buffy title challenge. Guess who's writing a fic entitled "Doublemeat Palace?"

* It's an interesting list in the mix of writing styles that co-exist without explosion. There are some brilliant, dark, and twisted minds, along with some folk that make Harmony look like a genius.

Thrive to spite them

Phil, M. Scott Eiland writes Buffy/Xander stories, he's on FF.net and BFA. I don't know if he's already been mentioned.

He's writing is okay.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I hate the Nikita fandom sometimes.

I hate how it's gotten to the point where it trudges along, kind of boring and blase, until it goes INSANE on you.

I run a weekly drabble thing, and I've been accused of stealing someone's suggestion for a drabble topic and not giving her credit. Because, you know, that's the path to glory in any fandom. Making good drabble suggestions.

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

You bitch!

Or, er, you know, not, as that's nuts.
