I believe I shall go off and write, after a last turn through the email. Night, loves.
Fan Fiction: Writers, Readers, and Enablers
This thread is for fanfic recs, links, and discussion, but not for actual posting of fanfic.
No, not Smallville! I don't even really like Smallville. I mean, it's fun to make fun of, but I only wrote it as a favor and because I could, good practice and, you know, making a character sound like a character is a good thing whatever fandom it's in. Honestly, now that you've mentioned fandom, I don't have a clue.... BtVS? Angel? I don't really have a fandom, not one that's my fandom. I just play. I'm a fandom dilettante. What an embarrassing admission.
Deena, I'd love to play the challenge game in Bitchy Fic. I once got Connie to write a story about Dawn and Spike at a swimming pool.
sneaking back in And the silly swimming pool story has had more hits on my website than anything else. Nearly 3,000. I think it must be bookmarked by lots of BigBrother!Spike fans.
really going to bed now
I love that story myself, Connie. Of course I'm kind of a BBSF.
Connie, Chicago's Most Wanted is a laugh riot, even if you've only got a vague general sense of the show. So. Damned. Funny.

And, if you do know the show, then you'll realize that stuff like this exchange:
"I mean, face it, Lieutenant--that tuna casserole thing just smells like Fraser."
Welsh sounded confused. "You're saying that Fraser smells like--?"
"I'm saying it's a Fraser kind of plan!" Ray yelled. "Diabolical and nutritious!"
is not only pure comedy gold, it's comedy genius.
I so want this story to be filmed.
Wow, that is one of the best fics I've ever read.
That was REALLY good. Kyra Cullinan is a very very good writer.
