Tick/Arthur would be great. You wouldn't have to do smutty stuff you could just do Tick realizing he's in love with Arthur and fallen down the rabbit hole of love.

According to Ben Edlund, The Tick doesn't have genitals. This doesn't absolutely preclude the possibility of romantic liaisons, as anybody who has read The Persian Boy can assure you. Just a bit more of an obstacle to overcome....
