You know, I've saved lives. Dozens. Maybe hundreds. I reattached a girl's leg. Her whole leg. She named her hamster after me. I got a hamster. He drops a box of money, he gets a town.

I don't think they're especially bad -- they're just so weird. Roy Orbison! Cling-film! Turtles! And the writer asks for links to other stories about wrapping pop stars in cling-film! It's like RPF from a planet where Saran Wrap has replaced sex.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

See, that's what I said! Charming.

Charming's probably a good world.

I like the terrapin, especially since I went to Maryland.

brillig

There are strange and bizarre places that even my Erisian tendencies don't want to go for fear of the sheer disorientation.

Dude. It's like, the cling-film person is the coyote trickster, and Roy Orbison is like the wise eagle. Or is it the other way around?

And why the hell am I reading about some German person's obscure cling-film fetish?

How odd. A friend shared that site with me the other day. I particularly like "well-groomed terrapin." It ought to be a band name.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

I didn't know what 'terrapin' was, and instead of looking it up at the M-W Online like a properly studious lass, kept on reading the story under the delusion that "Jetta" referred to a car. Which, as you can imagine, added even more layer of surrealism to the story, if such thing was possible.

Because Dana said I had to post a link.

I present for your zombie reading pleasure, my response to the Brain-Eating Good challenge: Big Damn Zombies, Sir.

The fandom is Firefly. The rating is PG-13 for language and things gross and creepifying.

Brrraaaaiiiiiiinnnnsss... go on and eat some!

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Bwah! Thank you, shrift. That improved my day considerably.
