I figured that, which made me like it. I just tried to go back and read it as if it weren't tongue in cheek but it didn't work. I still giggled at it.
I think I could wear large shiny objects in the hole my tongue left in said cheek during the writing of that story. One of my big worries originally was that, ye gads, someone might take it SERIOUSLY.
Hee. I can see people doing just that, and I probably didn't help that worry, since my original comment was pretty generic.
Remix stories are up. Minus two which are late, apparently.
Woo. Time to check it all out....
Hi SA! Did you see the thing in Bitches from last night about the tiara?
Nope. I'm not subbed to Bitches; don't really have time for it. Can you point me to the posts?
Man, they don't tell you who wrote your remix. What's up with that?
It's in COMM too- the last one.
The popslash remixes were also anonymous for a week or two, I think; I'm not sure why, but people seemed to have fun doing anonymous recs and then finding out whether they'd hit the Usual Suspects or not.
Huh. Well, I suppose that makes sense. It's just a little frustrating, after the Long Wait.
Okay, the really shocking thing is the story they chose. Stray Birds is not one of my better works. I read it about five minutes ago, and man. I am so weird. Here's the remix: I Drove All Night.
OK. Something's been bugging me.
I've been watching QaF lately, and I was wondering if there's any Brian Kinney/Spike slash out there, because I have an idea I may write up for fun.
