Sorta like grad school, only with porn.

askye, at the Britslash link Dana just gave. In the fiction archive, scroll down to 'U'. Several stories.
Thanks, I'll check it when I get home, it's flagged as an Inappropriate website.
I keep looking at my UV dvds thinking "I'll watch them, I'll fic." But then I look at all the other things I want to write and think "who would even know what UV is?"
Although UV kicks ass and everyone should watch it. Especially the fifth episode.
Slowly, slowly, Deborah gets sucked into the encompassing world that is fanfic. Soon her every thought will have that ficcy overtone, and nothing she sees and reads will ever be straightforward again.
Thoughts, maybe. Writing, likely won't happen. I'm discovering a surprising instinct to have two entirely separate and extremely distinct sets of "touch", but it actually may not be all that surprising, because I'm always about characters and voice.
OK, so, that last paragraph made no earthly sense, did it? Right. More coffee.
Anyone remember the Brit show UFO? pronounced youfoe - I loved that show, but only got a few eps late night on a local station in Arizona before it disappeared again. Very odd thing, girls on the moon, all with purple hair, and a Prisoner sort of main office in London, with a white-haired youngish man as our hero who drove a car with doors that went up instead of out to open.
Yes, I remember that show! The aliens breathed liquid, and once one of our heros got grabbed by them and shoved into one of their life support apparatuses, and they had to rescue him.
I want to write fanfic for THAT show. I want to own that show. It was so much fun! The one alien that landed ran around in suits like ours (maybe they were 'murricans?).
Hmm, a crossover of that and the Avengers would be interesting...ooh.. .and throw in the Prisoner! A triple cross.
Then there's "Space: 1999" where the moon--I think--gets knocked out of orbit.
Brit shows are fun.
"I am not a Zorkonian! I am a human be - oh. Wait."
Deena, I'm now giggling helplessly. Emma, Steed, Number Six and the man-eating beachballs, and an alien?
Never saw the Prisoner, don't remember the Avengers that well, I've only got intermittent brain flashes of UFO. No help on details, I'm afraid.
