Not really. Anyway, it sounds from that dire warning like what you're trying to launch is the installer, not the thing itself. Because, believe me, I'm running AIM with a buncha other things right now, and it's fucking great.

Does anyone have the link to the Inappropriate Crossover challenge handy? I'm partway through a due South/C.S.I. crossover, and I wanted to see if anything had been posted yet.

Yup, sounds like that's the installer. Run that once, and it should stick a nice AIM icon on your desktop, which you can use to sign in and chat like a fiend thereafter.
