Fan Fiction: Writers, Readers, and Enablers
This thread is for fanfic recs, links, and discussion, but not for actual posting of fanfic.
Deb, I've added you, too. I'm serasempre.
Gronk.
Anyone feels like checking some links... I've got a project now in beta before I bundle it off to its keepers...
Plei -- front page -- "Vignette", not "Vingette"
The links all work for me, Plei. The only weird thing is that a horizontal scroll bar tends to pop up at the bottom, but that's purely cosmetic, since a) there's no need to scroll and b) it would only move like an eigth of an inch.
Have you taken on a project? Are you crazy? ;-)
Wait, she said.
The links on your page, or the links to the stories themselves?

I didn't spellcheck any of the stuff. Errors noticed while slapping mark-up around, yep. The rest? Nope. (There was a Long Horrible Process getting all the bookmarks off of Yahoo. Any noticed typos are appreciated.)
Story links. I know mine work.
Dana, what's your screen resolution/browser?
Story links. I know mine work.
Ah. Sure. I'll start from Crossovers and work up.
IE 6 / 800x600
Minor typo: On [link] the header "AtS Novellas" ends with a period, even though none of the headers on the other pages do.
It might be a good idea to do a quick search-n-replace to get rid of smart quotes--the apostrophes used within words are angled, whereas single quotation marks around phrases aren't.

I've done that for some of them. They came over (this is where the process gets funky) with me doing some massive copying and pasting into, of all things, Front Page, where I stripped out the tables until I had just the recs and links. Then I dumped them into HTML Kit and ran Tidy on them, to get rid of the worst of it.
The curly ones are coded still, and I'm firing up HomeSite for a final polish on little things like that. HTML Kit doesn't have extended search and replace, sadly. Homesite does. (Which is how I've just fixed that first typo.)
De-stopping Novellas.
