Giles: I jump out of the circle, jump back in, and, and, shake my gourd. Buffy: Hey, I think I know this ritual. The ancient shamans were next called upon to do the Hokey-Pokey and to turn themselves around.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think the current SV principal is effectively evil. Not big-scale evil, but he's pissy to Lex, and what more do we need to judge him?

I bop to Wittgenstein. -- Nutty

My fandom eats you starting with your bottom.

I am ridiculously attatched to the phrase 'it eats you starting with your bottom' to start with, but that's just... it's making me hysterical.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

I love the "my fandom kills lesbians" one. TARA!!!

Aside from being pissy to Lex for making Clark late for school, and being mean to Clark for being late to school because he was blowing Lex in his car, I'm not sure the Smallville principal is morally ambiguous at all.

And he's not at all McHot.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Well, if he's not McHot, then Buffy wins. What's the point of being morally ambiguous, if you aren't lickable, too?

I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

My Fandom Kills Lesbians is definitely my favorite. Hee!

Thanks for the rec, Vonnie. Felt a little... stilted? Overly talky?... for the first couple of chapters, then solidified. I like his Teal'c. In return: Sleepers, SG S6 but you really don't have to worry about spoilers so long as you know the outline of what happens in Abyss.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Oooh. Thanks, Katie. That's a long one. ::bookmarks the link:: Wonder whether I could hold off until I get the DVDs.....

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Has everyone read Somewhere I've Never Traveled by Jenn? Smallville. So good. Really damn long.

Long fics. I love long, good fics. But I don't need another fandom, I don't don't don't.

We've been listening to all the Harry Potter books, and I keep hearing Draco being vicious and thinking "But he's not like that! He becomes a good guy and falls in love with Neville (or whomever you like in the fic pairing stakes)!"

I find myself afraid of what Rowling's going to do.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

The meta continues...

Can I just say that while I totally saw the vibe between River and Simon that time with the berries, the Incest Yay iconnage squicks me?
