For distraction's sake, a little road map of what I've been amusing myself with over the past day.
I will not link to the latest Smallville fannish kerfuffle, because it is stupid, but people's reactions have been priceless.
Lanning's icon
LaT's "Oh, COME ON"
witchqueen's "Five requests and a confession because of round 8967868769785644535 of Sarah T. vs fandom_wank"
Thamiris on peace, love, and understanding (NOTE: there's an interesting little graphic about halfway down which is probably not suitable for most workplaces, but which is surreally funny.)
And in other news:
There is a new Narnia archive.
Fandomination.net got a C&D letter. The reason? RPF featuring a baseball player.
Congrats on the Terec, Plei.
I've been watching the SV kerfluffle with slight amusement from my friends page. People are....well, it's best not to finish that sentence.
And out of your entire post, Dana, I saw "Narnia archive" and squealed. Yay!
Congrats on the Terec, Plei.
A sign of my tiredness? I saw this and could have SWORN you were talking about some Stargate guy, and got confuzzled.
Heh. How many days till you have your own version of spring break?
What's with the break, anyway, Plei? Does it just mean you have to take 100 days off from working for the Evil Empire? Or from working anywhere?

I know the lost income will suck, but I just keep thinking about how good 100 days off would feel. Got any plans?
Break good.
So why do The West Wing and Sports Night go so well together? As fanfiction, and archives, and the like.

Find a job? I don't have one waiting for me at the end of the hundred. I'd have to find a new one. I do plan on going and seeing relatives, and we're going to LA in May.
I will also be writing.

Both Sorkin shows.
