I'm just, uh, just feeling kinda... truthsome right now. And, uh... life's just too damn short for ifs and maybes.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Um. I'll go hide for a while then, shall I?

Heh. Only if you wanna. Glowing recs at BBF, mentions all across LJ land...

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

There's not that many. Actually, I think there's none. There was one list I loved the concept of, No Romance Fanfic, but it died.

Saw BBF, but apparently I haven't yet mastered that which is LJ land, 'cause I had no clue.

Back in the feedback discussion...

What is LOC? (Or LoC, as I've also seen it.)

Letter of Comment.

A long, detailed, point-by-point feedback if the one I got is any indication.

I bop to Wittgenstein. -- Nutty

It's almost to the level of a beta read, but completely unprompted. I've never had one.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

A long, detailed, point-by-point feedback if the one I got is any indication.

I don't think that's necessarily true. It dates back to zine days, when feedback actually had to be sent by letter, so it probably did tend to be longer and more detailed, but I've never understood the term to be exclusionary.

brillig

I got one of those recently about my Spike in Salt Lake series, which quite thrilled me. Those were written primarily for personal amusement, and it always amazes me when strangers (ie, no one here) reads them and likes them.

Spike in Salt Lake series

Want more. Still invested in them.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Shrift -- there's an LJ community called Fic_recs, and Maidenjedi posted a nice rec for Spectacle on it. And on my Friends list, so did Minnowgirl, and possibly Mely although I'd have to check.

I told you last night how much I liked the story, so I'll stop in order to avoid ego-inflammation. Heh.

I wrote last night, a "filler" scene for an as-yet-unaired-in-the-States episode of Farscape. Sadly, it is not a story. It's just a scene I wanted to see and didn't. And it's kind of soggy.

So rather than spend a lot of time on it, I'm just gonna put it on my LJ next weekend and forget about it. It's really "ficcy" in the way that I don't like. Except I wanted to see it. Weird, that.
