"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Really? To whom did he give birth? The World Serpent? A wolf? Who? Who?

Sleipnir -- no, I'm not making this up. He transformed himself into a mare, and went into heat. (He also fathered the World Serpent and the Fenris Wolf, but at least those were done the conventional way.)

Just another one:

Is there anything more beautiful than a beautiful, beautiful Joe/Billy story, where they do a concert and then get into a beautiful fistfight? And they wrestle in a beautiful way on the floor, and that leads to them having beautiful rough sex right there. And also, you're drunk.

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

FWIW, being the mother of a [eight-legged!] horse was rather humiliating to Loki. He did it because he'd persuaded the gods to make this deal, expecting never to have to pay up, and then discovered they might indeed have to pay up, and distracting the other guy's horse was the best way to break the deal he could think of. (It worked.)

So, not just gay sex and mpreg; bestiality, too.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I didn't see this referenced here. There's a nice interview on NPR a few days back by Margot Adler. She talks to a number of HP writers, particularly the Sugarquill gang.

It's quite good and sympathetic and stuff. I like Margot Adler.

You can go to npr.org, search on Harry Potter, and it'll come right up. You need RealPlayer to hear it.

Margot Adler went to Clarion -- probably the premier SF writing workshop. So she has fannish/genre roots aplenty.

Is that Clarion, as in Clarion, PA? I graduated from Clarion University of PA when it was still Clarion State College.

I believe it's named after Clarion but it's actually held in Michigan at present. (I went to Clarion West, in Seattle, hence I've not paid nearly enough attention to the history and present set up of the other one.)

Yeah, I think it started at my alma mater, but the place lacked the cool to keep it. They still talked about it, though.
