Um... adult fanfiction dot net is quite good for the R or NC-17 stuff. However, I'm having the same problem with ff.n, and I suspect it may be a computing problem rather than an existential crisis. Having read their front page, I think that updating my Internet Explorer 5 to IE6 might help. If it doesn't, then it's their problem.
What are you using, Anne? And if you like, we might take this to the tech thread.
Someone kick start my muse, please?
Because God knows you haven't written much in the past month...

Further to my last post: I've updated to IE6, and I can now read stories on ff.n, including mine. However, it still says I don't exist. Seems like they have a problem.
Are there any other multi-fandom sites where one can archive things? Also, any hints about how to use one's Live Journal as a ficcing place?
Glass Onion.

Silverlake, if you're willing to deal with the list and wait thing. Neither are places for WIPs, though. I use LJ for WIPs. I put the headers, the warning that it's a WIP, links to any previous sections, and then something like
t lj-cut text="Raw. Fic Tartare Raw. You've been warned"
as my cut tag.
I fear adultfanfiction.net, but that can be blamed on the whole mummy hand incident. And the bowls.

But I only wrote 102 words last night (whine).
I checked in again, and I seem to have popped back into existence.
BTW, is there anyone out there who is familiar with/addicted to CSI? I may need a beta-reader in the next few weeks.
Glass Onion.
Does anyone else think "Brass Monkey" when they read "Glass Onion"? and Try to fit "Glass Onion" into the song?
Just me, then?

Nope. I tend to think, well "Glass Onion", and then I have to dig through my Beatles stuff. Until now, where it might happen that Unfortunate Earworms occur.
My brain makes unfortunate connections, y'see.
That's fine. Mine mixes Revolution Number 9 with Rock And Roll, Led Zep. version.
Been a while since I've read this, and it's still damn hysterical: Deep Fanfic Thoughts, by Jack Handey.
