Been re-reading LoP, just got to the section where Narcissa's talking about having only slept with one man she trusted, who married her best friend. Said man was cheating on said best friend, in order to win a bet. "Queer as Scent" shows that Narcissa's best friend is Harry Potter's mother. Which insinuates that James Potter is not the nice guy one assumes. hmmm....

Well! Please, please, please don't let it be that Draco and Harry are related. That would be bad. Everyone says (in the fic) that Draco takes after the Veela side of the family, but he's got Lucius's hair.

PMM--Woo hoo! Dan & Casey fic!!! whispers so that Kiba can't hear... Dan and Casey do too have sex. Their love is good and true and pure and real, but also with the "I know you better than anyone on the planet and turned down an amazing job offer just for the privilege of working alongside you, even though I knew it would most likely destroy my marriage, and even after it did, I never regretted a single decision that I made, including accompanying you halfway across the country" hot monkey sex. And that's just Casey's half of the story. Don't get me started on Danny.

As I said in Shrift's 'blog, I think that the release of the SN DVD's should spawn a Sports Night Fic Renaissance. This may finally be the thing that gets me to write. Somehow, Ewan McGregor pouring oil and glitter on his chest and shimmying completely out of his leather pants didn't do it. Xander's mile-long, fuck-me eyelashes and sexy, Pack-hyena smile didn't do it. Lindsey (though he still makes me gasp) and Angel's twisted BGL didn't do it. The Clex and the sexual revelation that is MR didn't do it, though the joy that is Platitude Porning came close. I almost, almost got there after Phallus in Pigtails sparked my imagination and I realized that there are about three SB fics out there worth reading, but no. But I think Dan and Casey's pure, true, intelligent, intimate, talky (sexy) love may do the trick.
