Mal: Yeah, well, just be careful. We cheated Badger out of good money to buy that frippery, and you're supposed to make me look respectable. Kaylee: Yes, sir, Captain Tightpants.

Shoes for Industry never worked for me, but I'll try the other location. I read Time Cannot Mend, but I think the Bujold stuff passed me by as I've not read any of that. Draco is a lot of fun, though.

Lizard, it's a frames page, I can't get a URL for the story itself.

edit: I went to the dark arts site.

If you right-click in the relevant frame, you should get the option for opening the frame in a new window-- copy that URL.

If you, you know, love me, and everything.

Percy's a git. But a cute git.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Percy breaks my heart. He really does. He's like BtVS Wesley - it's almost painful to watch him, he's so pompous and gauche. God. It's like Sir Andrew Aguecheek - that "I was adored once too" has the power, if done right, to reduce me to floods of tears. Percy isn't a git, but he's a pillock, and prissy, and excruciatingly insecure.

I bleed for him. Really, it's just so pitiful - he's got such a lot to prove, coming after Bill and Charlie, and with the twins, with their incomprehensible popularity and effortless social skills following behind - and he disapproves of them, and never quite gets why they're so well liked. And even his baby brother has the whole best-friend-of-Harry-Potter thing going on.

Percy wants so very badly. God. He's like this black hole of neediness, and he's so easy to ridicule. It kills me.

t /totally going over the top about speculative variations on nonexistant characters.
