... I've read only one story (series) that slashed Wash that I liked, and that was the, er, Filament bunch by Lemonlashes, but it's not that I really honestly bought the Wash/Simon bits; I just really liked the rest of the story. The last one she did (set just in OOG) was lovely.
I haven't actually looked for a lot of Firefly fiction. I'm not sure why but I've been wary. Possibly because it's so new and possibly because I haven't seen many recs for any stories or seen that many writers I'm familiar with writing in the fandom.
Vehemently wrote a lovely pre-Serenity fic ( Cradle Arms Wide? Is that right?) And there is a haunting fic by Te, Logos, that is so very, very wrong and so very, very plausible.
And t memefault someone (someone BNFy enough that I shouldn't be failing on the name) wrote a really good Simon/River.
I've read vehemently's and Victoria P's Simon/River story. Somehow I've managed to miss Te's.

Oh, yes, Elena, I loved both of those. I didn't really like Victoria P's story, but, then again, I don't like Victoria P.

Why, Rebecca is me, on this. Which is not fair, entirely, because I don't dislike Victoria, I just tend not to like her writing and thus skip her.
